Shah Ali police station OC transferred

The officer in-charge (OC) of Shah Ali Police Station under Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), Jahangir Alam, has been withdrawn from his post and attached to the DMP headquarters’ central reserve office.

The decision was announced in an office order signed by DMP Commissioner Mosleh Uddin Ahmed on Saturday (September 26).

According to the order, Jahangir Alam, an unarmed police inspector, was attached to the Central Reserve Office under the Headquarters and Administration Division of DMP in Dhaka 'for administrative reasons,' effective from the afternoon of September 26.

The order identifies Jahangir Alam as the OC of Shah Ali Police Station and names the Central Reserve Office as his new workplace.

The order took immediate effect.
