Shofiqul Hoq elected Chairman of Citizens Bank Risk Management Committee

SM Shofiqul Hoq has been unanimously elected as the Chairman of the Risk Management Committee of the Board of Directors of Citizens Bank PLC, says a press release. 

SM Shofiqul Hoq represents Rahimaziz Knitspin Ltd, one of the Sponsor Director entities of Citizens Bank PLC and currently serves as Executive Director of NR Group. A seasoned professional with extensive experience in the textile industry, he holds a degree in Finance and Banking from the University of Dhaka.

Hoq began his professional career in 2004 as an Assistant Manager at Arif Knitspin Ltd. Through his progressive career journey and extensive professional experience, he assumed the position of Executive Director of NR Group in 2025. He has also been serving as a member of the Board of Directors of Citizens Bank PLC for a considerable period.
