BRAC Bank’s foreign remittance inflows crossed $2.5 billion in the first nine months of 2026, surpassing its full-year record of $2.2 billion set in 2025.
With three months remaining, the bank is targeting more than $3 billion in remittance inflows by the end of 2026.
The growth has been supported by international partnerships, technology-driven services and wider access for expatriate Bangladeshis and their families. The bank has also expanded services for non-resident Bangladeshis, including digital account opening, savings and offshore banking facilities.
BRAC Bank Managing Director and CEO Tareq Refat Ullah Khan said the milestone reflected the trust of expatriate Bangladeshis and international partners. He said the bank would continue investing in technology, human capital and strategic alliances to make remittance services faster, safer and more convenient.
