Measles claims 5 more lives 

Five more people died of suspected measles in the country in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of deaths from confirmed measles to 101 and suspected measles to 1,003 this year. 

The combined death toll from measles and its symptoms now stands at 1,104, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Its regular health bulletin on Tuesday said that three people died of suspected measles in Dhaka division and one each in Sylhet and Chattogram during the 24 hours from 8am Monday. 

During the period, 1,339 new patients with measles and suspected measles were admitted to hospitals across the country.
