A projectile struck a passenger terminal at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on Sunday (October 11), triggering a fire a day after a deadly attack killed 12 people and injured more than 300, according to the Saudi-led coalition.
The coalition said air defences also intercepted a cruise missile near the airport. It did not immediately attribute responsibility for the latest incident.
Meanwhile, SriLankan Airlines suspended all flights between Riyadh and Colombo until October 18, while services to and from Dammam continued as scheduled, according to the report.
