Maasranga TV Instagram account hacked, adult videos posted

Maasranga Television’s official Instagram account was hacked overnight, leading to the unauthorized upload of five posts including edited pornographic videos featuring two popular Bangladeshi actresses.

The compromised contents were uploaded late Monday night and remained visible on the station’s verified account until 11:00 AM on Tuesday.

The edited videos gained significant traction while online, recording 155,000 and 147,000 views respectively before being addressed. The first post accumulated over 1,300 reactions and 1,181 comments, while the second gathered over 1,400 reactions and more than 200 comments.

The sudden posts triggered widespread confusion and concern among social media users, with followers expressing shock in the comment section over the explicit content appearing on a mainstream media handle.

Confirming the security breach, Maasranga TV’s Multimedia Managter Mahmudul Rubel told media that their official handle fell victim towards a hacking incident.

He added that the channel is preparing legal action regarding the incident.
