Sura Healthcare is working to streamline the process of accessing medical care in Thailand for Bangladeshi patients seeking advanced treatment abroad.
Led by CEO Mohammad Solaiman, the company has initiated a coordinated service model that includes arranging doctor appointments, hospital selection, medical visa assistance, and managing transportation and accommodation.
The company stated that it is collaborating with more than 300 doctors and specialists from 15 renowned Thai hospitals. Through this initiative, they assist international patients in securing appointments, developing treatment plans, and obtaining information on estimated costs based on individual needs.
Mohammad Solaiman noted that Thailand’s healthcare system is globally recognized. However, patients and their families often face challenges—such as hospital selection, communicating with doctors, visa procedures, language barriers, and travel logistics—when seeking treatment abroad.
A primary goal of the company is to support patients by coordinating these various aspects.
He further explained that the company’s services encompass hospital appointments, treatment planning and cost estimation, online doctor consultations, medical visa documentation assistance, interpreter services, flight bookings, accommodation, ambulance services, and post-treatment communication and follow-up.
Beyond Bangladesh, the company aims to extend these integrated services to patients from countries such as Nepal and Bhutan. Sura Healthcare facilitates connections with hospitals and doctors tailored to patient needs and assists with the logistical arrangements required for medical treatment.
The company operates an office and a pharmacy located next to the Ambassador Hotel in the Sukhumvit Soi 11 area, the heart of Bangkok. These facilities serve as the hub for coordinating various medical and medical tourism-related services.
Having advance information regarding specialist appointments, estimated treatment costs, and visa procedures can help patients planning medical treatment abroad prepare more effectively.
However, the outcome of the treatment, visa approval, and the confirmation of appointments within a specific timeframe depend on the decisions of the respective hospitals and authorities.
