Modhumoti Bank PLC inaugurates 'National Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2026'

Modhumoti Bank PLC has been working seamlessly to ensure cybersecurity in its banking operations alongside providing safe and modern digital banking services to its customers. 

In continuation of this effort, the official inauguration of "National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM) – October 2026" was held recently at the bank's Head Office in the presence of Mr Md Shafiul Azam, Managing Director; Mr Shahnawaj Chowdhury, Additional Managing Director; Mr Arab Fazlur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Business Officer; Mr Arif Hasan Khan, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Risk Officer of the Bank.

Moreover, Ms Fahmida Saeed Saki, SEVP & Head of International Division; Mr R M Sariful Islam, EVP &Head of Credit Risk Management Division; Mr. Shaikh Mohammed Shoieb, EVP & Head of Operations Division; Mr Mohammad Nazmus Sakeb, VP & Chief Information & Communication Technology Officer; Mr Md Mashiur Alam Mollah, VP & Chief Financial Officer; Mr Md Rezaul Karim, VP & Company Secretary; Mr S M Arifur Rahman, AVP & Head of Brand Communication & Public Relations; Mr Md Ismail Chowdhory, FAVP & Head of IT Security; along with other senior officials of the bank attended this event. 

The discussion session highlighted the growing importance of cybersecurity in the banking sector, emphasizing the need to strengthen cyber resilience, enhance employee awareness, safeguard customer information, and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of digital banking services.
