The supplementary examinations for students who failed the HSC and equivalent exams are tentatively scheduled to begin on December 2, pending question paper preparation.

According to Education Board sources, examinees who failed in one or two subjects are expected to be eligible for these supplementary tests. A final decision on eligibility criteria will be announced following the publication of the re-evaluation results.

The roadmap was outlined in a working plan signed on Saturday, October 31, by Professor Jasmine Taslima Banu, Controller of Examinations at the Dhaka Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education and Convener of the Inter-Education Board Controller of Examinations Committee.

Under the schedule, question paper formulation will take place from November 1 to 20. Following the proposed December 2 exam launch, results are slated for publication on December 31.

Meanwhile, online applications for HSC paper re-evaluation will open on November 1 and run through November 7. Applicant data will be retrieved from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) on November 8, with answer script re-examination taking place from November 13 to 19.

Final verification will be completed between November 24 and 26, leading up to the release of re-evaluation results on November 27.
