After New York, Apurba now perform in Florida

Actor Ziaul Faruq Apurba is set to take the stage in Florida, following the success of his debut solo musical show in New York last August.

The actor, who has increasingly been focusing on music alongside his acting career, will perform in Tampa, Florida, on December 13 as part of the two-day Seventh World Fair and Fest.

His concert will begin at 7:30PM local time on the second day of the festival.

Apurba made his solo concert debut at the Jamaica Performing Arts Center in New York under the title Apurba Musical Night. He entertained the audience for nearly two hours with a mix of popular songs and personal anecdotes.

His setlist included Hemanta Mukherjee's 'Ei Raat Tomar Amar', Souls' 'Mon Shudhu Mon Chhuyechhe' and 'Keno Ei Nirobota', Bappa Mazumder's 'Din Bari Jay', Feedback's 'Moushumi' and Nagar Baul James's 'Baba', among other popular numbers.

Following the New York show, Apurba expressed interest in performing in other US cities. At the time, he revealed that he had received concert invitations from 12 cities but wanted to take adequate preparation rather than rush into organising more events.

The upcoming Florida concert is part of that plan.

In a video message announcing the show, Apurba said, "After New York, I am coming to Florida to share my music with you. We will meet through songs and stories."

Although he was once occupied with acting projects throughout the year, Apurba now spends much of his time in the United States. He is using his time there to explore new opportunities in live music.

However, his concert ambitions are not limited to the United States. The actor has also expressed interest in performing live in Bangladesh.

Meanwhile, before returning to the United States in early October, Apurba completed shooting for more than half a dozen television dramas in Bangladesh.

He has also revealed that discussions are underway about several film projects. If everything goes according to plan, the actor is expected to make an official announcement about his upcoming film projects soon.
