Dinajpur marks National Revolution Day

A discussion marking National Revolution and Solidarity Day was held at the auditorium of the Shilpakala Academy in Dinajpur on Saturday, organised by the district administration.

Local Member of Parliament Syed Jahangir Alam attended the programme as the chief guest.

Among others, Deputy Commissioner Rafiqul Islam, District Council Administrator Mofazzal Hossain Dulal, Superintendent of Police Zedan Al Musa and freedom fighter Moksed Ali Mongolia addressed the gathering.

Following the discussion, artistes presented a cultural programme as part of the day's observance.

Meanwhile, the district unit of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) is scheduled to organise a rally followed by a discussion meeting in the afternoon to mark the occasion.
