RAJSHAHI, Apr 23: The Maldivian model and Rajshahi Islami Bank Medical College student Raudha's murder was pre-planned, says her father.
Raudha's father Mohammad Atif said this to the media at a news conference in Rajshahi Press Club on Sunday.
He said Raudha was not the girl, who could commit suicide. Someone strangulated her. Dr Atif did not find any sign of suicide on his daughter's face. There is no clear evidence that his daughter committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan. He rejected the first forensic report. He called upon the journalists to find out the truth for the sake of justice for his daughter.
CID Inspector Asmaul Haque said, "We are continuing our investigation. Meanwhile, we have taken statements of 20 persons including the hostel superintendent, administrative officer and medical college students on Saturday.
Earlier, three doctors were intimated on Friday night to perform a second autopsy of Raudha's body. The body of Raudha will be exhumed on Monday.
