4 workers killed in Sylhet stone quarry landslide

Four workers were killed and two others went missing in a landslide at Lovachhara stone quarry
in Kanaighat upazila of Sylhet on Tuesday morning.

The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.

Kanaighat Police Station OC Abdul Ahad said a police team was sent to the spot receiving the information about landslide in Banglatila area.

Samsul Islam, additional superintendent of Sylhet police, said the four died in landslide while workers were extracting stone illegally in the quarry.
