Three killed in Ctg landslide

CHITTAGONG, Dec 30: At least three people, including a 10-year-old boy, were
killed in a landslide in South Razanagar area under Rangunia upazila on Saturday afternoon.
The victims were identified as Amir Ali, 37, Mohammad Didar, 38, and Mohammad Shakib, 10. They hailed from Mohammapur village under Razanagar union of the upazila.
Locals said the incident occurred when Amir and Didar were cutting hill illegally and Shakib was standing beside around 3:00pm. A big chunk of earth fell on the three, leaving them on the spot.
Locals recovered the bodies under pile of earth. Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Kamal Hossain confirmed the incident but could not give details.
