Seminar on PhD at BAU

A seminar on 'Honoring PhD Degree Holders for Their Achievements' was held at conference room of Agriculture Faculty of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) on Thursday.
The programme was organised by PhD students Association (PhDSA) of BAU.
BAU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Ali Akbar attended the programme as a chief guest with Pro-VC Prof Dr Md Jasimuddin Khan, coordinator of Committee for Advanced Studies and Research (CASR) of BAU Prof Dr Lutful Hasan as a special guest.
PhD SA president ABM Shahidul Islam Jewel presided over the programme.
BAU Vice-Chancellor said that, now our challenge of research is the sustainability and also the commercialization in agricultural sector for the developmental of our country.
678 students get PhD Degree from 1974 to present from this university and now 343 students are ongoing PhD fellows from different disciplines.
About 36 PhD students were awarded for their achievements.
