DIU 158th in world rankings 2018

Daffodil International University (DIU) has achieved the top position in Bangladesh and 158th position in the world in 'UI GreenMectric World University Rankings 2018' and added another milestone to its continuous global recognition initiative. Wageningen University & Research, Netherlands has been ranked first in 2018 ranking list. This ranking is available at the official website of Universities Indonesia (http://greenmetric.ui.ac.id/overall-ranking-2018/). All participating universities are ranked based on six indicators - Setting and Infrastructure (15%), Energy and Climate Change (21%), Waste (18%), Water (10%), Transportation (18%), and Education (18%).
UI Green Mectric is the only university rankings in the world that measures each participating university's commitment in developing a'safe environment friendly' infrastructure and focuses on the current condition and policies related to green campus and sustainability in universities all over the world.
It may be mentioned that recently, Daffodil International University also achieved a prestigious position in the QS Asia University Rankings-2019 which signifies an international standard quality of education of the university as a result of discovering new ideas through research and publications.
This year total 719 universities from 81countries around the world took part in the UI Green Mectric Rankings.  The most important significance of UI Green Metric World University Rankings, done by Universitas Indonesia,is to combating global climate change, sustaining environment and ensuring green world through awareness as well as endeavor from global Higher Education Institutions.
