2 militants of Holey Artisan attack holed up in India

Two absconding militants who were directly involved in the Holey Artisan attack that left 20 dead and including 17 foreigners in 2016 are now holed up in India.
They were identified as Shariful Islam Khalid, Military Commander of the Holey Artisan attack and Mammunur Rashid Ripon. The Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime Unit (CTTC) found the direct involvement of two fugitive extremists - Mamunur Rashid alias Ripon and Shariful Islam Khaled - in the attack. The Special Task Force unit of Kolkata police has recently arrested two active members of Jamatul Mujahidin Bangladesh, a banned terror outfit.

The Indian intelligences agencies got the information about the duo after interrogating them, reported the Indian media. The CTTC sources told The Daily Observer that they had found the involvement of 22 people in the country's worst-ever terrorist attack.  Six of the suspects are in jail and two are absconding.
