8 held for spreading rumours on facebook

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested eight people for circulating 'provocative videos and rumours' on the social media, including facebook, on the topic of the 11th national parliamentary elections.
A RAB official said they were arrested in separate operations in the capital's Moghbazar and Mouchak areas on Friday night.   A RAB team conducted the operations based on information and after monitoring the suspects.
