IU: Weeklong BNCC camping

A weeklong Battalion Camping of Bangladesh National Cadet Core (BNCC) was ended at Islamic University (IU) campus in Kushtia amid festivity on Sunday. It was began on last Monday at the campus with a view to training up of some cadets.
170 cadets (male & female) from 18 schools, colleges and universities of the Khulna division were trained up at the camping under the BNCC 24 Battalion Camp 04/2018 of Sundarban Regiment, Khulna, campus sources said.
IU VC Prof Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari inaugurated the battalion camping as the chief guest at Birshrastha Hamidur Rahman Central auditorium of the campus while IU Pro-VC Professor Dr M Shahinoor Rahman, Treasurer Prof Dr M Selim Toha and trainer of the 24 Battalion Major Nazmul Haque, were present here.
