IU winter vacation begins

A 14-daylong winter vacation of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia was begun from Saturday, IU registrar office sources said on Tuesday.
IU acting registrar SM Abdul Latif said that the academic and administrative activities would remain closed from Dec 29 to January 9 and the activities would resume from January 12.
The residential halls of the university will also remain closed from Dec 28 to January 11, he added.
