Asif Akbar to start journey into Bollywood

Asif Akbar has released a new song with a Kolkata-based production house named Griebs Music. Shree Pritam has written composed and arranged music of the song titled 'Ovinoy'. The song marks the beginning of YouTube channel of Griebs Music in Bangladesh. On the occasion of the launching a ceremony was held at a city hotel on February 25. On part of Griebs Music, officials present at the event said that they are going to launch Asif as a Bollywood singer soon. A film named 'Hunch' being produced by the music production company will have Asif Akbar as one of the playback singers. Farid of Griebs Music first broke the news. The film would be released in July this year with cast featuring noted actors from Kolkata and Bollywood.
Shree Pritam also commented about Asif's Bollywood start saying that he thinks Asif has done whatever was left for him to be done in Bangla Music. Now he wants to see Asif go wide. Perceiving that the fans want this too he has undertaken a music project with Bollywood for Asif Akbar.
Asif on his part said that when he first heard of the proposal he was shaken, but then he consented. According to him from our country Runa Laila has sung many times for Bollywood, band singer James too raised storm with modern Bollywood songs and now he is anxiously looking forward to his reception in Bollywood.
Present at the launching ceremony of Ovinoy were Asif Akbar, Debashish Biswas, Tarun Munshi, Plaban Qureshi and the pioneer behind Asif's musical career Ethun Babu. From Griebs Music present were Farid, Shree Pritam and Jakir.
