Raushan elected JaPa Chief Patron, GM Quader Chairman
Raushan Ershad has been elected as the Chief Patron of Jatiya Party while GM Quader as its Chairman.
They will lead the party for the next three years.
Meanwhile, Mashiur Rahman Ranga has been re-elected as the party Secretary General
Chief Election Commission Adv Sirajul Islam announced their names at the ninth council of JaPa on the premises of Institute of Engineers, Bangladesh in the capital on Saturday.
Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quade also present in the council.
On Friday, Ranga said at a press conference, "Raushan Ershad, the wife of HM Ershad, will take on the role of the party's chief patron. She's being given the highest honour within the party."
