
Famed Indian-Bengali singer Somlata Acharyya Chowdhury has performed in a concert at Bangabandhu International Conference Center. She along with her band 'Somlata and the Aces' performed onstage in the evening of yesterday. Fuad the coordinator of the organising body has confirmed that the megastar will leave today for India in the morning.
Somlata debuted with film singing in 2007. She has served as playback vocalist in Tollywood films- Cross Connection, Bedroom, Bojhe Na She Bojhena, Belasheshe and more. The films brought her huge appreciation both in West Bengal and Bangladesh.
She has also voiced for blockbuster hit Dhallywood film Dhaka Attack. Arjit Singh of Bollywood voiced along with her in the duet titled 'Tup Tap.'
