Mephistopheles and his new terror tactics

Operational activities of the Islamic State aka the IS matters, and it matters more than ever following the Sri Lanka bombings. As far as IS involvement is concerned with the bombings there are two probabilities. First, the IS claim could be a pure hoax drawing cheap public attention. Second, if we assume the IS claim to be true - how did it organise the attacks and had implemented them with such precision?

Analysing the Sri Lanka bombings from a third angle, the suicidal attacks to have claimed 359 lives (during the time of this writing) hints at an ominous and upsetting truth. The truth, however, with or without IS involvement, extreme and terrorist Islamic groups are yet active and evading the security scanners of some countries.

They can strike anytime but not everywhere. If it was all so easy for Islamic terrorists to strike, seeking vengeance for Christchurch attacks, the expected country should have been New Zealand and not Sri Lanka. Sadly enough, another peaceful island nation had to become the latest victim of a massive terror strike following the Christchurch mosques' attacks.

The point of this writer - no matter in which country Muslims are persecuted, tortured or massacred - there will be an equally violent response to it. The act of reprisal attacks will be purely based on in which country men, material and logistic supports are possible to gather - the rest is all about fixing the venue and time.

However, Between 15 March and 21 April, what had gone so dangerously wrong that the so-called Islamic terrorists were able to regroup, plan and organise to hit back with far much intensity inside the peaceful island nation?
IS could have or not have been a direct party to the Sri Lanka Easter attacks but the bloodbath has delivered a critical message : Islamic extremist forces are on alert too - the retaliation for targeting innocent Muslims will be steeper - domestic and regional militant forces can efficiently organise terror strikes.

Many had feared a revenge attack any time anywhere and finally it occurred in Sri Lanka. There is also enough room kept open to ask, had there been no killing at Christchurch mosques -- would the latest massacre take place in Sri Lanka?

The IS may be a retreating dark force geographically in the Middle East, but they have successfully managed to indoctrinate a religion of hate among many young and derailed Muslims across the world. The Salafi jihadist militant group, despite the common perception of being weakened and largely abolished reported by the Western Media, has once again proved its noticeable deadly presence in condemning terror attacks.

Amusingly, country locations for executing such attacks have shifted from Europe, Africa via the Middle East to South - East Asia ranging to as far as New Zealand. Skin colour or Australian, European and North American identity for that matter has become inconsequential. Global terror game has narrowed its scope aiming to create a clear and wider schism between Islam and Christianity. Mephistopheles's agents evidently returns with a game changing strategy and even a bigger sinister scheme.   Polarising Islam from the Christian world will eventually strengthen the Zionist powerhouse.

The terror methods, however, remains the same - it's either suicidal attacks, hit-and-run operations or other form of espionage and assassination techniques but they are now occurring with even wider mind transforming implications.
Clear attempts to combine Islam with terrorism commenced after the 9/11 attacks -- soon after the attempts turned into a deadly hotchpotch to re-define the Quran and its followers as an outdated band of motley crew misguided by the Prophet Muhammad.  Needs be reminded, terrorists are made and not born.

Nevertheless, the creed of extremism or terrorism knows no border, religion or ethics, and it is on this point where the so-called West's so-called War on Terror is repeatedly failing.

Combating a globally scattered violent group of extremists, driven by misleading Quranic interpretation should not be addressed by issuing security alerts and imposing trade sanctions. Military campaigns in the Middle East and Afghanistan clearly failed while intensifying worldwide terror strikes. Imposing discriminating immigration rules is another attempt to brand and isolate Muslims.

The solution lay in the psychological reading of the making and also the breaking of a terrorist. And who knows, perhaps the latest terror attacks in Sri Lanka were not carried out by extreme Islamic forces at all - rather it was carried out by some 'undisclosed greater evil' for establishing geopolitical supremacy in the Asian region.

This writer will not be surprised, if Brenton Tarrant's gunning down of fifty Muslim worshippers are somehow found to be closely linked with the Sri Lanka Bloodbath. A number of conspiracy theories clearly suggest, the Christchurch bloodbath was aimed to provoke the declining terror attacks carried out in the name of Islam.

Tarrant can potentially be a tailor-made subject for reviving the so - called 'Islamic terrorism' worldwide. It has become just too muddled to pin down which party is actually playing the 'Islamic terrorism card' in the global stage. The Mephistopheles here is likely to be a non - Muslim and also a non - state actor.

It's widely known that there is a conventional 'religious conflict - of -interest' in the race of establishing supremacy between the Al -Qaeda and the IS. Since the IS has officially claimed responsibility, so it yet remains the only visible 'Islamic Mephistopheles' to reckon with. However, a Faustian pact with the IS to put an end to their terror attacks is also not an option.
As in Shakespeare's lines, All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players, following the latest Sinhalese carnage - the curtains have dropped following terrible scenes - though we can now assume the actual actors to have acted in the brutal scenes - but the script writer remains unknown. And rather mysteriously given a forewarning issued about an impending terror attack to Sri Lankan intelligence authorities prior The Easter Sunday.

As the Faust legend has been reported to have been trapped in his own hell by serving the devil, it appears, he has become extraordinarily active to include the rest of the world by inventing newer dimensions to global terrorism. After all, the hell born out of lust, greed and miseries may be just 'a frame of mind to him'; it's not the same with the rest of the humanity.
