The first batch of Rajshahi mango will be available in the market from May 15.
The decision to collect mango has been taken after a view exchange with agriculture officials, fruit researchers, growers and traders, said Rajshahi Deputy Commissioner (DC) SM Abdul Qader.
In a press briefing at the DC's conference room on Sunday, the DC said action would be taken against those who pluck mangoes before collection time.
"If mangoes of any garden ripen early, garden owner collect fruits getting permission from the UNO," he said.
