2 drug traders held in Rajshahi

Police arrested two drug traders with Yaba tablet in Baghmara upazila of Rajshahi on Monday night.

The arrested are Bachhu, 38, and Ujjal Hossain, 30, residents of Bankal Pacchimara village in the upazila.

Ataur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Baghmara police station, said a team of police conducted a drive in the area at night and arrested Bachhu with 15 Yaba tablets.

Later, police arrested Ujjal from his house for his alleged involvement with Bachhu.

A case was filed under Narcotic Control Act with the police station, the OC added.
