Woman found hanging in Rajshahi

Police recovered the hanging body of a woman in Puthia upazila of Rajshahi district on Thursday.

Deceased Rifa Begum, (35), was the wife of Altaf Hossain, a resident of Sharisabari village in the upazila.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) morgue, said Puthia Police Station officer in-charge of Sakil Uddin Ahmed.

Police assumed that she might have committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan over family feud, the OC added.
