Workshop on e-mutation begins in Rajshahi

A two-day workshop on e-mutation began in Rajshahi city on Sunday.

Land Secretary Maksudur Rahman Patwary as chief guest inaugurated the workshop at Nanking Darbar Hall in the city.

Commissioner office of Rajshahi division, in association with Access to Information (a2i) programme of the Prime Minister’s Office, organised the workshop.

Maksudur urged the field level administrative officials to bring all the existing land services under digitalization process for welfare of the mass people.

“Public sufferings and harassment related to land mutation and other necessary activities could be addressed through digitalization of land services,” he said.

Chaired by Commissioner of Rajshahi division Nur-Ur-Rahman, the programme was addressed, among others, by director of local government division Shyam Kishore Roy, additional divisional commissioners Anwar Hossain and Jakir Hossain, and deputy commissioner Hamidul Haque.
