Construction work of Mariners’ Tower inaugurated

The construction work of Bangladesh Mariners' Society (BMS) tower adjacent to South Point School and College in Baridhara in the capital was inaugurated on August 4, 2019.
Deputy Minister for Education Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel inaugurated the construction work of the tower as chief guest. Engr. M A Rashid, Managing Director, Karnophuly Ship Builders Ltd and Chairman of BMS, educationist Principal Hamida Ali and social worker Mrs Monimun Nahar Commodore sayed Ariful Islam Director General, Department of Shipping, and Engineer Roich Uddin, General Secretary of BMS, Captain Shofiqul Director General of BMS, captain Gias Uddin controller of Maritime Education and Engineer Sahalam, were present, among others.
