Drug trader held with heroin

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained a suspected drug trader with heroin from Godagari upazila of Rajshahi district on Thursday noon.

Detained Md Naijbur Rahmaan, 45, hailed from Sadar upazila of Chapanawabaganj district.

A team of the elite forces conducted a drive in Sarengpur area around 12:45 pm and nabbed Najibur along with 5.20 kilograms of heroin worth about Tk five crores .

RAB-5 confirmed the matter at a press briefing in the afternoon.
