Woman dies of dengue in Rajshahi

A woman died of mosquito-borne dengue at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) on Monday.

Deceased Shapla Khatun, 25, was the wife of Hasibul Islam from Baneshwar area in Puthia upazila.

DMCH sources said Shapla died at 12 noon.

RMCH Deputy Director Saiful Ferdous said Shapla was admitted to the hospital on September 4 with dengue fever.

Following deterioration of her condition, Shapla was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) where she died, the deputy director added.
