‘Islamic Arabic Univ established to promote higher edn at madrasas’

Deputy Minister of Education Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury said the government has established Islamic Arabic University to promote higher education in Madrasa. All over the world, Bangladesh is now a role model of madrasa education. All have to work together on how to make Madrasa education in higher education.
He said at a discussion meeting on higher education of Madrasa education at the university auditorium in the capital on Wednesday.
University Grants Commission Chairman Professor Dr. Kazi Shahidullah, was present as spokesman. Chairman, Bangladesh Twenty-five School Grants Commission. Safiuddin Ahmed, Director General of the Madrasa Education Department and Professor Kaiser Ahmed Chairman of the Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board were present as special guests.
Dr Muhammad Ahsan Ullah, Vice-Chancellor of the Islamic Arabic University presided over the meeting.  He said that the madrasa education system is very well organized in the country. From here, many students are joining to public professions and all are making success in this profession.
