Two RU BCL men suspended

Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) has suspended two leaders of its Rajshahi University (RU) unit for misbehaving with a student.

The duo were suspended on Sunday, according to a press release signed by BCL central committee’s acting president Nahian Khan Joy and its acting general secretary Lekhak Bhattacharya.

Suspended Abdul Haque, deputy education affairs secretary, and Abu Hasem, deputy liberation war and research affairs secretary, of RU unit Chhatra League.

According to the press release, both of them were expelled because of violating rules and regulation of the party by misbehaving and giving a threat to a journalist on Friday night.

The victim journalist Abdur Rahman Ashik, a student of Mass Communication and Journalism, said the duo went to my room on Friday night and gave me threat.
