Truck runs over teenage boy
A teenage boy was killed as a truck ran over him in Paba upazila of Rajshahi on Sunday morning.
Deceased Mehedi Hasan Imon, 15, was the son of Kamal Hossain, a resident of Muraripur area of the upazila.
Kashiadanga Police Station officer in-charge (OC) Mansur Ali said a truck ran over Imon at city’s Upakantha Balia intersection around 9:30am when he was crossing the road, leaving him injured.
He was rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
The body was sent to the hospital morgue.
Deceased’s father filed a case in this connection with the police station, the OC added.
