Two to walk gallows for killing school girl after rape in Madaripur

A Madaripur court on Monday convicted two people and sentenced them to death over killing of a school girl after rape. The death row convicts are Milon Molla, 22, and Mahmudul Hasan alias Madhu Molla, 24, residents of Courtbari area in Sadar upazila of the district.
The judge of Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal Dilruba Sultana delivered the verdict at 12 noon today.
According to the case statement, miscreants kidnapped a class II student of Courtbari Shreenodi Government Primary School on November 27, 2012, and took her to a jungle area near Uttarkandi Jame Masque.
They strangulated the victim to death after rape.
On February 3, 2013, police submitted charge sheet against the accused.
