Youth killed truck hits motorcycle in Panchagarh

A young man has been killed as a truck rammed into a motorcycle at Sadar upazila in Panchagarh district.

The deceased Alim Islam, 20, was the son of Shamsul Haque, a resident of Garagama area under Debiganj upazila.

Tentulia Highway Police Station officer in-charge Jahangir Alam said a truck hit the motorcycle at Noymail area on Thursday night, leaving its driver Alim and pillion rider Mozaffar Hossain injured.

The injured were taken to Panchagarh Adhunik Hospital morgue where the on-duty doctor declared Alim dead, he added.
