Drug peddler held with 20 kgs hemp in Pabna

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained a drug dealer along with 20 kilograms of hemp at Sadar upazila in Pabna district early Saturday.

Detained person is Md Sajjad Hossain Swadhin, 25, a resident of Burir Battala village in Sadar upazila of Natore district.

On information, a RAB team conducted a drive at Tebunia Bazar area and detained him alongwith the hemp.

Confirming the matter, RAB-12 Pabna acting company commander Md Aminul Islam Kabir said the RAB, later, handed over him to Pabna Sadar Police Station after filing a case under the Narcotics Control Act.
