CCC polls: Man stabbed dead by brother

A man was stabbed to death by his own brother in Pahartoli in Chattogram city on Wednesday morning centering the CCC election.

The incident took place at 8am, Pahartoli Police Station OC Rashedul Haque confirmed.

Deceased Nizam Uddin Munna was the brother of accused Salauddin Kamrul and a supporter of Awami league rebel candidate Saber Ahmed.

Salauddin is the follower of AL-backed councilor candidate Nurul Amin.

OC Rashedul said Nizam and Salauddin have previous enmity which led to the murder.
