Ex-policeman killed as truck hits motorcycle

A truck rammed into a motorcycle at Phulbari upazila in Dinajpur district on Wednesday night, leaving the biker dead.

The deceased was identified Md Sohel, 27, a former police constable. He was the son of Md Mizanur Rahman, a resident of Phulbari Stationpara area in the upazila. .

Phulbari Police Station officer in-charge Rajib Kumer Roy said a truck hit the motorcycle in Laxmipur area at about 8:00 pm, leaving its rider dead on the spot.
