Two arrested over a murder case in Dinajpur

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 arrested two people from Chirirbandar upazila in Dinajpur district on Thursday night for killing drugs trader Hasanur on December 28.

The arrested were identified as prime accused Samiul Islam, 30, a resident of Ranipur Vondopara village and Rubel, 27, a resident of Balapara village under Nashratpur union of the upazila.

RAB-13 officials said the drugs trader killed by some miscreants on that day.

Later, the deceased's mother filed a case with Chinirbandar Police Station in this regard. After investigation, the elite force conducted a raid and arrested the accused from Ranirbandar Fakirpara area.

Chirirbandar Police Station officer-in-charge Bazlur Rashid said police produced the accused before the court and sought seven days remand for each.
