New body of Jamalpur district BNP

JAMALPUR, Nov 27: A new committee of Jamalpur district Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) was formed in the town on Saturday.
Faridul Kabir Talukdar Shamim and Wares Ali Mamun were declared as president and general secretary of the committee respectively.
The declaration came at the triennial council of the district BNP on the Shinghajani High School ground.  
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir was chief guest in the council session and President of district BNP Faridul Kabir Talukdar Shamim chaired it.
The chief guest urged the government to hold a dialogue for a free, fair and uninterrupted general election.
The council session was addressed, among others, by BNP Vice-Chairman Mohammad Shahjahan, Advisor to Chairperson ASM Abdul Halim, Joint Secretary General Moazzem Hossain Alal, Organising Secretary Emran Saleh Prince, Assistant Organising Secretary Shariful Alam, and Assistant Secretary on Climate Affairs of Central Executive Committee Mostafizur Rahman Babul.
