Bus catches fire at Jatrabari

Fire broke out in a bus under Jatrabari Flyover in the capital on Tuesday (January 30).

Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters received the information that a fire broke out in 'The New Sheba' passenger bus beneath the Jatrabari Flyover at about 1:45pm.

Duty Officer Lima Khanam confirmed the matter.

She said fire broke out in a passenger bus under the Jatrabari Flyover. Two fire fighting units reached the spot at about 2:20pm and brought the fire under control.

However, it could not be known why fire broke out in the bus.
