A copy of the 24-page verdict, signed by Justice Mohammad Khurshid Alam Sarker and Justice Sarder Mohammad Rashed Jahangir, was published on Thursday.

On February 12, the HC ordered Dr Yunus to deposit Tk50 crore to the NBR on behalf of the company, and file an appeal against the income tax claim for the tax years 2011 to 2013.
On January 28, Dr Yunus and three other Grameen Telecom officials appeared in the court and filed a petition against the verdict in labour law violation case. The High Court later declared this order rejecting the petition.

The Dhaka Third Labour Court on January 1 sentenced the four to six months' of imprisonment, with a fine of Tk 25000 each, in the case. The court also granted them conditional bail on the same day.

On September 9, 2021, Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments (DIFE) filed the case against Dr Yunus and three others alleging that they violated the labour law. The court on June 6, 2023, framed charges against Yunus and three others in the case.
