Three senior police officials sent on forced retirement

Three senior police officers, including two additional inspectors general of police, were sent on forced retirement on Thursday. 

The officials are Md Mahabubar Rahman, additional IGP of Industrial Police, Dhaka, Mohammad Ali Mia, additional IGP of Police Headquarters and Joydeb Kumar Bhadra, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Police Headquarters.
In this regard, the Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs issued three separate notifications signed by Senior Secretary Dr Mohammad Abdul Momen.

According to the notifications, they have been sent on retirement from government service in the public interest as per the provisions of section 45 of the Public Service Act, 2018.

They will be entitled to get all fringes of retirement benefits as per rules, it added.
