JUJA gets new body Mehedi Prez, Mamun GS

Mehedi Mamun of Bonik Barta and Abdullah Al Mamun of Prothom Alo elected president and general secretary of Jahangirnagar University Journalists' Association (JUJA) for the next one year.

Chief Election Commissioner Prof Kh Lutful Elahi announced the election result around 2:00pm.

The other elected office bearers are: Vice President Md Bayijid Hassan Rakib of Daily Inqilab, Joint Secretary Jobaer Ahmed of DBC, Treasurer Razib Rayhan of Protidiner Bangladesh and Office and Publication Secretary Mah Alam of Daily Observer.

Besides, Rasel Mahmud of Breaking News, Soikat Islam of jagonews24.com and Ashraful Mia of The News were elected as executive members.
