Zubayer-Saad factions asked to conduct activities at designated mosques

Tabligh Jamaat members, who are followers of Maulana Zubayer Ahmed and Maulana Muhammad Saad Kandhalvi, have been asked to conduct their activities at their designated mosques in order to avoid any kind of untoward incident.

The Home Affairs Ministry issued an order in this regard yesterday (December 30), asking followers of the two fractions not to get involved in any kind of dispute by being present at the same mosque across the country.

"The Tablighi-Jamaat devotees of the both the factions have been asked to conduct night staying (Sobgujari) at Tablighi-Jamaat's Kakrail mosque maintaining peace and discipline," according to the home ministry order signed by deputy secretary Dr Mohammad Abdus Salam.    —BSS
