2nd ODI between Bangladesh 'A' and Pakistan Shaheens washed out

The second (ODI) One Day International between Bangladesh 'A' and Pakistan Shaheens, scheduled to be held at Islamabad Club Ground on Wednesday, was washed out due to a wet outfield caused by a continuous rain.

Persistent rain prevented the captains of both teams from even conducting the toss. By the afternoon, the umpires declared the match abandoned. Pakistan Shaheens lead the three-match ODI series 1-0.

In the first ODI, Bangladesh 'A' suffered a heavy defeat against Pakistan Shaheens. Batting first, Bangladesh 'A' could only manage 183 runs. On a day when Soumya Sarkar, Naim Sheikh, and Taohid Hridoy failed to perform, only Saif Hasan and Rishad Hossain contributed with runs. Pakistan Shaheens chased down the modest target in just 27.5 overs with 8 wickets in hand, starting the series with a convincing win.

With the second match abandoned, the series now moves to its final ODI, scheduled for August 30 at the same venue, Islamabad Club Ground.
