Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Sunday assured that most of the 16-point demand, presented by a group of cricketers from all districts across the country, will be addressed.

Earlier in the morning, a group of several cricketers gathered at BCB office in Mirpur's Sher-e-Bangla Stadium to present their 16-point demand.

The cricketers' demands include a fixed domestic cricket schedule, creating second-tier teams in National Cricket League, and offering salaries to top 90 players from the first, second, and third divisions. They also requested professional contracts with clubs, better umpiring standards, and improved pitches.

Other key demands include broadcasting first-division league matches online, restructuring the Cricketers' Welfare Association (COAB), ensuring medical treatment for injured players, and expanding opportunities for practice facilities and leagues at the district level.

BCB Director Nazmul Abedeen acknowledged the legitimacy of most demands, stating, "Our priority is what benefits cricket. We will try our best to support the players and ensure they are fairly evaluated."

While some demands may not be fulfilled immediately, the BCB has expressed its commitment to work towards long-term solutions for betterment of both cricketers and the game.
