Bangladesh opener Anamul Haque Bijoy has secured a spot in the Zim Afro T10 League, becoming the second Bangladeshi cricketer, after leg-spinner Rishad Hossain, to be selected for this season.
Bijoy was picked by the Bulawayo Braves Jaguars from foreign 'C' category during Monday's player draft for the second season of the league. Meanwhile, Rishad Hossain will represent Harare Bolts.
Bijoy will be joining international stars like Australia's David Warner and West Indies' power-hitter Carlos Brathwaite on his team in Bulawayo.
The Zim Afro T10 League, featuring six teams, will be held in Harare from September 21 to September 29. Each 15-member squad will include six Zimbabwean players, with an additional 16th player serving as a global icon, who can also be a Zimbabwean.
