Bangladesh national test squad will receive a significant cash rewards after their historic victory against Pakistan recently.

The prize giving ceremony is scheduled to be held at a five-star hotel in the capital on Saturday evening. Sports Advisor Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan will present a prize of Tk 3.2 crore to the players of the Test squad.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) media division confirmed the matter to a online news portal.

Bangladesh made history by whitewashing Pakistan in a Test series on their home soil. The victorious team was honored by chief advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus in a ceremony held on Thursday. 

BCB has a tradition of awarding cash bonuses for winning series. Every Test, ODI, and T20 series victory earns the national team a bonus, and the historic triumph in Pakistan is no exception, with the players receiving a large sum as a reward for their outstanding performance.

Bangladesh cricket has witnessed an unforgettable moment in its history. The red and green team won a two-match Test series against Pakistan, a team they had never beaten in this format before. This series also marked Bangladesh's first-ever Test win against Pakistan, 24 years after achieving Test status. 

After a dominant 10-wicket victory in the first Test, the team secured a remarkable 6-wicket win in the second, completing the series sweep.
